Wrath of the Titans featurette

Wrath of the Titans has released a short  minute clip about one of the films mythological creature; the Chimera. It’s boosted my excitement a little.

Word has broken out that Brett Ratner is set to direct Midnight Run 2

For those unfamiliar Midnight Run was 1988 American action comedy film which starred Robert De Niro as a bounty hunter with Charles Grodin as his prisoner.

The film garnered mostly positive reviews, with critics crediting the brilliant comic chemistry between the leading men and a great supporting cast in Dennis Farina and Joe Pantoliano.

Due to its success Universal are wanting a sequel, with Brett Ratner set to take directors chair. De Niro has reportedly stated that he is keen to reprise his role, whilst screenwriters David Elliot and Paul Lovett are penning the script.

While Brett Ratner’s Tower Heist had a decent run in cinemas, fans aren’t keen about him directing or a Midnight Run sequel even going ahead, can’t say I blame them.

The Three Stooges Trailer #2

The Three Stooges get a new trailer in the form of Jackass. The film is set to open in the UK on June 15^th, and so far hasn’t been getting positive reactions. Take a look for yourself!!!

With Looper starring Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt set for UK release on September 28^th the film has given the fans some first look photos of JGL’s younger version Bruce Willis have been release.

This sci-fi film is set in a futuristic world where time travel is possible, but illegal. Organised crime groups use is to send assassins known as “loopers” to kill people they’ve sent back in time.

JGL plays a looper forced into a tricky situation where his future self (Willis) is the target of assassination by his younger self. Complicated, I know.

The images show the bulky looking JGL. Word has it that JGL spent a lot of time studying Willis’ acting in order to get the characters similarities in different time zones.

Michael Bay: “Fans need to take a breath, and chill,”

When word got out that Transformers director Michael Bay was set to revive the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise fan’s weren’t too pleased. Even more so when he had the following to say about his revamp:

“When you see this movie, kids are going to believe, one day, that these turtles actually do exist when we are done with this movie. These turtles are from an alien race and they are going to be tough, edgy, funny and completely lovable.”

Fans of the long running franchise were outraged, forcing Bay to make another public statement via his official website, saying;

“Fans need to take a breath, and chill,” said Bay via his official website. “They have not read the script. Our team is working closely with one of the original creators of Ninja Turtles to help expand and give a more complex back story. Relax, we are including everything that made you become fans in the first place. We are just building a richer world.”

Let’s hope Bay knows what he’s talking about.
The film’s planned release is Christmas day 2013.

Here are the first (leaked) on-set photos of Hugh Jackman in highly popular stage musical adaption, Les Misérables

Set for UK release on January 13th 2013 Les Misérables tells the story of a number of interconnected characters in leading-up to the June Rebellion of 1932 in 19th Century Paris.

Jackman will be starring alongside Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter and Amanda Seyfried.
